Flotation machine is applicable to grading of non-ferrous and ferrous metal, also applicable to grading of nonmetals, such as coal, fluorite and talc. The impeller of flotation machine is driven by motor v-belt, centrifugal effect is thus produced and negative pressure is formed, which, on the one hand, absorbs adequate air to mix with ore pulp, and on the other hand, stirs the ore pulp and mixes the ore pulp with medicines and refine bubbles; thus, the minerals will be adhered to the bubbles and float to the pulp surface and form foam layer. Adjust the opening of flash board and cone valve and control the liquid level to make the useful bubbles scraped out by scraper blade. For selection of flotation machines, the following information shall be indicated: Models, specifications and number of flotation cells. Number of scraper blade devices (left or right). Single-side scraping or double-side scraping. Numbers of feed boxes, middling boxes, tailing boxes, feed pipes and middling pipes. Liquid level can be controlled manually, electrically or automatically. Deployment diagram of flotation technological process should be provided.
Structural features: it absorbs air and ore pulp naturally, impeller is with backward inclined double-side blade and can realize dual cycle of ore pulp in the cell; there is big gap with the cover plate, and air inflow is less influenced when in the case of abrasion; it is with large air inflow, forward inclined cell, small dead angle, and high movement speed of foams.
Performance features: large air inflow and low energy consumption; it is arranged horizontally without the need of foam pump; low peripheral speed of impeller and long service life of impeller cover plate; the ore pulp realizes (upper and lower) dual cycles in a fixed manner, which is conducive for suspending of coarse minerals.
It can form combined flotation unit with JJF flotation mechanism as the suction cell of each operation.
When the SF type floatation machine works, the motor drives the spindle through the V belt to rotate the impeller in the lower part of the motor. The main feature of the flotation machine is shown on the impeller. The impeller has a backward inclined double side blade, which can realize the double circulation of the pulp in the groove. When the impeller rotates, the slurry in the upper and lower impeller chamber produces centrifugal force under the action of the upper and lower blades, namely the main and auxiliary blades, and is thrown to the periphery, so that a negative pressure area is formed in the upper and lower impeller cavity. At the same time, the pulp on the top of the cover plate is sucked to the upper impeller cavity through the circulation hole on the cover plate to form the pulp circulation. The impeller is thrown out of the pulp than the blade throwing out three-phase mixture proportion, thus a large centrifugal force, velocity attenuation is slower, and the three-phase mixture out of the blade generates additional driving force, the centrifugal force is increased, thereby improving the impeller cavity vacuum play auxiliary suction effect. When the lower blade throws out the pulp around, the lower pulp is replenish to the center, thus forming the lower circulation of the pulp. The air is sucked into the upper impeller cavity through the suction pipe and the central cylinder, and is mixed with the pulp of the aspirated person, forming a large number of small bubbles. After stabilizing the flow through the cover plate, the air is evenly dispersed in the tank to form mineralized bubbles. The mineralized bubble floats to the foam layer and is scraped out from the scraper, which is the foam product.
